ABSTRACT:
The “Key and the Lock” system which we have being using from
many years is nowadays inevitable for the security purposes. Many “key locks”
have evolved along these years. Change is the only thing which is going on
without change in this universe! The Double Security Multi Access (DSMA) system
is the electronic “Key and Lock” system which we have developed for advanced electronic
security in the areas where the traditional “key locks” are used. As the name
indicates, this is a double security system with the advantage of opening up
the security in multiple ways. In
traditional locks if we have multiple access (i.e., more than one key for single lock), then the security of the same is less or reduced but in DSMA multi access has been introduced without reducing the security of the lock.

The
problems with the traditional locks are the hard access, single security, one
way access. The other problem with the
hard lock system which we investigated is that in dark places or for aged
peoples it creates difficulty. A person
should be near the lock, put the key and turn it to open the lock. This project
comes as a solution for the same. In this the hard and one way access is
converted into multi access. Multi Access involves more than one access, we can
access the lock via a keyboard and display system which is set up by “Guard
Phone” (a low cost mobile), in which the phone security is the first security
and the manufacturer’s security is the other one (double security). Second
access of the lock is wirelessly using a phone from anywhere (the user‘s
phone). Guard phone’s number is kept as security number (provides first
security) and manufacturer’s security is the other one (double security). If
both these access shows any failure, there’s an “emergency access”, which
involves usage of digital key. The main principle
used in this circuit is DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) communication.
Till now we have seen many types of digital locks in banks, lockers, etc. but the main advantage of this project is the double security and multi access. The low cost of DSMA systems challenge the multinationals that produce electronic based lock system..!!
